Laser Tattoo Removal…
Our Laser Tattoo Removal treatments are safe and effective. The laser targets the pigmented ink of the tattoo breaking it down under the skin and allowing your antibodies to rid your body of the ink.
How long does it take?
Depending on the size and location of the tattoo, each treatment usually takes 10 to 30 minutes. Some non-professional tattoos can fade significantly after only a few treatments. Any professional tattoo, however, can take a minimum of 12 or more treatments to remove. Treatments are performed 4 to 6 weeks apart based on your healing.
Does it hurt?
Since the laser light selectively targets the undesired ink, other tissues remain largely unaffected, and therefore most patients report little discomfort. If the treatment is too uncomfortable, your technician may offer you a topical anesthetic.
What can I expect after the treatment?
Immediately upon laser exposure the treated area may frost over or become whitish in appearance. This frosting subsides however swelling may last longer, this can be reduced by cooling the skin with an ice pack. The tattoo will fade over the following weeks.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are rare. When side effects do occur, they are usually mild and confined to the treatment area. Your consultant can provide you with complete details.
